Cloud of angels circling the Earth

At sunrise, the rays were hitting the side of the mountain. There was a pillar crown of clouds on top and luminous Angels circling the mountain. A glorious morning to behold.

Angel Wings or a Spirit Apparition at Lake Granby

The clouds were shaped like angel wings descending down to earth and took flight across the lake.

Grand Lake Morning Mist and Evening Twlight

Early Morning Mist settles on the mountains near Grand Lake.  Felt like we were driving on top of clouds.

Evening is coming and the twlight of colors dance from the sky to the lake.

Volcano Cotopaxi

Since 1738, Cotopaxi has erupted more than 50 times, which created the numerous valleys formed by lahars (mudflows) around the volcano. Cotopaxi poses a high risk to the local population, their settlements and fields. Cotopaxi's most violent eruptions in historical times occurred in the years 1744, 1768, and 1877. In the 1877 eruption pyroclastic flows descended all sides of the mountain, with lahars traveling more than 100 km into the Pacific Ocean and western Amazon basin draining the valley.

Mackinac Island - A Place Without Time

Time still stood and the cobblestone streets are still the same with the sound of horse drawn buggies and wagons wheels rolling down the streets.  No sound of man made motor cars and engines.

Cheaha Mountain Lookout Point for Talladega National Forest

A nice breeze, not too hot but a place to relax and take a dip and swim with a breathtaking view of the valley below and the Talladega National Forest.

Top of Cheaha Mountain

We promised to return to Cheaha Mountain and stay for several days and enjoy the mountain trails and wild life.  That was two years ago.  We must keep our word and go back to visit the mountain and valley below.

A Home not of Marble floors and Gilded walls

"You'll find, where'er you roam,
That marble floors and gilded walls

Can never make a home.

But every house where Love abides,

And Friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home-sweet-home:
For there the heart can rest."

Lake Griffin A Place of Retreat

No swiming allowed due to a healthy population of alligators.  One of the largest lakes in Florida and used as a retreat for many ladies during the early spring.

Time is Too Slow for those who Wait

Hours fly, Flowers die
New days, New ways,
Pass by.  Love Stays.
Time is Too Slow for those who Wait,
Too Swift for those who Fear,
Too Long for those who Grieve,
Too Short for those who Rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is not.
