Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Canada - “Universe Formed at God’s Command”

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Canada - "Reflect Love"

Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Ephesians 5:1-2 NIV

Thought for the Day:  I can glorify God through my actions today.

 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff -- they comfort me.

Canadian Rocky Mountains - “You Saw me before I was Born”

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Jasper National Park - Believe from the Heart

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10

Jasper Park - Ask, Seek, Knock and the Door will be Opened

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.  Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Faher in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him?"

Ukrainian Brothers and Sisters in Christ - Remember the Battle of Jericho!

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”

Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord[a] have for his servant?”

The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

He who comforts us

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthian 1:3

God's Everlasting Love

 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:  "I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."

The Earth is My Sister

The earth is my sister.  I love her daily grace, her silent daring, and how loved I am.  How we admire the strength in each other,  all that we have lost, all that we have suffered, all that we know.  We are stunned by this beauty, and I do not forget, what she is to me, what I am to her.

Rivers Will Not Overflow You

"Fear Not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name;  Your are Mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the river, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scotch you.  For I am the Lord your God. "  Isaiah 43:1-2

Pyramid Lake Nested in the Rockies

There is so much beauty in all the Rocky Mountains from Colorado, Montana, and Canada's Alberta and British Columbia regions.  This is Pyramid Lake and island in Jasper National Park where many weddings are held.

"Mountains Kiss High Heaven"

Love’s Philosophy
By Percy Bysshe Shelley

The fountains mingle with the river
   And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix for ever
   With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
   All things by a law divine
In one spirit meet and mingle.
   Why not I with thine?—

See the mountains kiss high heaven
   And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
   If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth
   And the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What is all this sweet work worth
   If thou kiss not me?

"Clouds his Spirit Yearned"

The Wanderer

To see the clouds his spirit yearned toward so
Over new mountains piled and unploughed waves,
Back of old-storied spires and architraves
To watch Arcturus rise or Fomalhaut,

And roused by street-cries in strange tongues when day
Flooded with gold some domed metropolis,
Between new towers to waken and new bliss
Spread on his pillow in a wondrous way:

These were his joys.
Oft under bulging crates,
Coming to market with his morning load,
The peasant found him early on his road
To greet the sunrise at the city-gates,---

There where the meadows waken in its rays,
Golden with mist, and the great roads commence,
And backward, where the chimney-tops are dense,
Cathedral-arches glimmer through the haze.
