Joy Comes in the Morning

 

For His anger is but for a moment,

The Work of Your Fingers

 

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than the angels And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

A Tree Planted by the Rivers of Water

He shall be like a tree 

Planted by the rivers of water, 

That brings forth its fruit in its season, 

Whose leaf also shall not wither; 

And whatever he does shall prosper.

The Sun knows when to go down

He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.  You bring darkness, it becomes night , and all the beasts of the forest prowl.  The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.  The sun rises, and they steal away, they return and lie down in their dens.  How many are your works, Lord!  In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.  There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number--living things both large and small.

The Clouds are His Chariot

 

The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent.  and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.  He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.  He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.  He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.

Traces of Faith

 

Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.

 Like a flowing river down a mountain slope leaving traces of fresh misty drops in the air, I hope this blog leaves traces of faith for those who enjoy my photography and read the Bible Verses I select for the nature scenes.  

Renew my Strength

 

Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

I can find renewed strength as I wait for the Lord.

The Blessing of Tears

 

The psalmist said, 

"You number my wanderings; 

Put my tears into Your bottle; 

Are they not in Your book?

When I cry out to You, 

Then my enemies will turn back; 

This I know, because God is for me.

In God I have put my trust;

I will not be afraid.
